Best to continue 19 to 20 Celsius temperature level. if you are in hot climate area neon tetra fish breeding is the hard and expensive thing. Therefore best to breed in winter or low temperature seasons.
Pairing of this fish is too hard because of male and female not so different. But you can identify them because of female is little fat than a male fish. Also male fish blue line is straight and female one blue line is little bit curved. In a breeding time specially you want to care about feeding. Basically you want to increase dosage of food and feed them to special food in breeding time. You can use special flake foods in the morning and then frozen blood worms.
Naturally they breed in amazon river when in the rainy season.There for if you can Put rain water filterer that’s a best for breeding. Also every egg laying fish need to sphagnum peat moss. Therefore put these thing for best result. Take one male and female put them to little breeding tank.Next thing is the tank light level. After Breeding leave the parent, normally after 36 hours egg’s start hatching. But some time it’s take more than that time limit. After 5 or 6 days fry become a free swimming. You can feed them to baby brine shrimp like that thing. Feed them to two to four times per day.
