Betta Breeding not require large tank like 55 gallon.It’s only require comparatively small 5 to 10 gallon fish tank. but you want to care tank setup for successful breeding process.For Betta breeding you require a pair of Betta Fish , thermometer , covered small range fish tank , Indian almond leaf and Fish tank Heater. using fish tank heater maintain 26 to 28 degree Celsius temperature level.
how to breed Betta fish ? first add male to breeding tank male blow bubble nest under the Indian almond leaf. Leaf help to create bubble nest.first introduce female with a barrier.you can use glass or small tank to separate them.after one day release female. If male and female match female lay egg’s and male will put egg’s in bubble nest. but sometime female and male didn’t match male attack every time and nothing happen.if nothing happen wait 2 day’s and remove female in breeding tank. It’s depend in your luck.

But fry want him father at least three-day.normally after three day fry can swim around the tank.that’s the better time to remove male Betta fish in the tank.
If you can feed live fish food for fry that better.after two week fry growing up and change put they in to 25 gallon fish tank.this fish not like a goldfish you breed fighter fish.after two month age male Betta act their natural fighting habit. then after two month’s separate them to small tanks.
